Andrew W. Donofrio

Andrew Donofrio is a leading computer and digital forensics and IT network investigator with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Donofrio has conducted over 1,000 forensic examinations of digital evidence, and has also qualified as a court appointed forensic expert in state and federal court.

During his tenure as Detective Lieutenant with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office in New Jersey, Mr. Donofrio was responsible for the development of a digital forensics laboratory, where he led a 35-member Computer Crimes Task Force. He is a respected educator in the field, where he has instructed police officers on the procedures for securing an electronic crime scene, and at seminars where he has presented to parents and educators on internet safety for children. He frequently teaches multi-day courses on computer forensics, e-discovery and computer investigative topics for both law enforcement agencies and universities.

Mr. Donofrio is the former Associate Lab Director for the Cyber Crime Lab at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. He served as the Program Developer for the Masters Certificate Program in Advanced Computer Forensics, and is currently a member of the faculty, where he provides instruction in several of the program's courses.
